Izzy & Ferd was founded in 2014. Inspired by a famous voyage, the company name Izzy & Ferd (I.F.) is named after the great patrons of exploration, Queen Isabella and King Ferdinand of Spain, who sponsored Christopher Columbus’ voyage to the New World. Columbus asked “What I.F.?” and found the Americas. Their designs spur your little explorer to ask “What I.F.?” What if I captained a team of sled dogs to the coldest place on earth? What if I traveled to that land encased in ice, and stood on top of the world? Some day, when they strike out on their own, our children will wonder what they are capable of. And then they will remember our stories.
